Kasol: Bridge over the Parvati
This wobbly metal suspension bridge crosses the Parvati river at the village of Kasol, in the Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh, India. On the far side can be seen steam rising from some small hot springs, several of which which occur in this area. Manikaran, which is 2 miles upstream, is famous for its hot springs. Crossing the bridge itself is interesting because the metal foot plates don't meet in the middle, and move against each other with the river below visible through the gap...
