Footpath to Cueva de Covalanas
The steep footpath to the Covalanas Cave is just south of the village of Ramales de la Victoria in Asturias. Unfortunately, the cave was closed when this photograph was taken, but there were these outstanding views of the Cantabrian countryside as you climb up. During the Stone Age, the cave was ideal to see both prey and enemies from far away, and enemies and were exhausted by the time they reached the cave.
