Llandudno Pier
At 2,295 ft this is the longest pier in Wales. The orginal pier was built in 1858 but was severely damaged during a great storm in October 1859. The present pier, was opened to the public in 1877 and various additions were made to the pier up until 1969, when the landing stage was totally rebuilt and used until 2007 for annual sailings of the preserved steam ship 'Balmoral'
