The Swiss Museum of Transport (Verkehrshaus) lies on the lakeside just outside
Lucerne, and is a favourite destination for excursions. The main building seen here is decorated on the outside with hundreds of hub caps from different makes of motor car. Inside are over 3000 exhibits from all types of vehicle which will keep the kids occupied for hours. There is also a cinema with the largest screen in Switzerland.
