Puerto Soller is a beach resort surrounded by the
Tramuntana mountains and about 3Km from the inland town of Soller. The electric tramway seen here opened in 1913 runs from
Soller, and along the promenade to the port. It connects with the ferry boats taking you to the beach at the nearby
Torrent de Pareis.
