At 1963 metres this is a peak in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg, west of Interlaken, from where you can see Lake Thun and the entire Bernese Alps.
The summit is very popular for hang gliding and can be reached by a modern gondola lift that runs from the village of Beatenberg, where it connects with the Thunersee Beatenberg Bahn.
