This picturesque Yorkshire village, once a major lead mining centre, is probably the largest in Upper Wharfedale, and was the location for the 2011 Channel 4 Television series 'Love Thy Neighbour'.
This is the cobbled square, which has been carefully preserved and is surrounded by a selection of family owned shops offering quality foods, gifts, cafes, restaurants and hotels. The 16th century stone cottage behind the lady with the blue umbrella is the Upper Wharfedale Folk Museum.
