Praa Sands, eastern end
Located in St Mount's bay, the biggest bay in Cornwall, Praa Sands is half way between Penzance and Helston. The main beach is sandy but this panorama was taken at the eastern end which is strewn with large boulders covered with seaweed and mussels. On the horizon you can just see three oil tankers waiting for the price to rise before unloading their valuable cargo.
