The Cobb Lyme Regis
|
The harbour wall at Lyme Regis known as The Cobb, was made famous when it featured in the film 'The French Lieutenant's Woman, and more recently in the TV adaptation of Jane Austen's 'Persuasion'.
It was here that Louisa Musgrove fell down the steps in Persuasion, and where Meryl Streep stood in 'The French Lieutenant's Woman'. |
